Roundabout 'Loves' stars

The Roundabout Theater Company has arranged a starry cast for any benefit concert reading through from the 1963 tuner "She Loves Me," with Josh Radnor, Jane Krakowski, Cheyenne Jackson, Kelli O'Hara and Victor Garber one of the thesps aboard. Reading through is going to be helmed by Scott Ellis, who also directed the Roundabout's revival from the show in 1993. The advantage event is timed towards the 20th anniversary from the Gotham nonprofit's Broadway creating activities, which began in the now-defunct Qualifying criterion Center having a revival of Harold Pinter's "The Homecoming." O'Hara ("South Off-shore," "The Pajama Game") and Radnor ("Generate An Income Met Your Mother") will have two clerks in a perfume shop who hate one another at the office but create a romance as anonymous pen pals. Rory O'Malley ("It of Mormon") and Michael McGrath also are probably the cast. A 15-person orchestra offers the music for that concert reading through. Tuner has music by Jerry Bock and lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, the duo behind "Fiddler on the top,Inch "Fiorello" and "The Apple Tree," having a book by Joe Masteroff ("Cabaret"). Gala benefit will have 12 ,. 5 in the Stephen Sondheim Theater, among the three Broadway venues possessed by Roundabout, on the evening once the theater's current occupant, the Roundabout's current revival of "Anything Goes," is dark for that evening.
